The Gospel Fest reimagines this year's theme, Mwendo (Progress). Performers will showcase gospel music through the ages, show how it has changed as a genre, and show how it has contributed to creating other genres. Attendees will also be able to walk a red carpet and show off their "Sunday's Best" to appreciate Black gospel/church culture further.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Seneca Crump at crump.77@osu.edu or 614-688-8449. Requests made one week in advance of the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
Event attendees may number in the hundreds.
Event volume may be heightened with sound amplification, pyrotechnics, or the sounds from a large crowd.
Event may include group activities, handshakes, and/or require attendee interaction.
