Each year, the week prior to the start of autumn semester classes, volunteers across the university and city welcome new and returning residents into the University District, providing students with essential off-campus living information.
The Off-Campus Community Welcome will be held on Friday, August 18th from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Off-Campus Community Welcome Block Party will be held on Friday, August 25th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Join us at 16th & Indianola for free food, yard games, and an introduction to what living off-campus in the University District has to offer!
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact macgregor.29@osu.edu at macgregor.29@osu.edu or 614-292-0100. Requests made one week in advance of the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
Event attendees may number in the thousands.
Event volume may be heightened with sound amplification, pyrotechnics, or the sounds from a large crowd.
Event may include group activities, handshakes, and/or require attendee interaction.
