The 4th annual Graduate Student & Postdoc Industry Recruitment Event?(GSPIRE) is an opportunity for post-baccalaureate trained individuals to connect with industry careers including full-time positions and internships. This event is for Master’s, PhDs, and Postdocs interested in exploring, networking, or finding a position in industry. GSPIRE will bring a diverse group of industries and organizations to campus on Oct. 25th and virtually Oct. 26th. All graduate students and postdocs across campus are welcome. Make sure to sign up for both events on Handshake now!

Workshops and career-related sessions will be offered in the weeks leading up to the GSPIRE. See below for more info on those events, and to register.
Master's and PhD students, you have a Handshake account already. All you need to do to activate it is log onto Handshake (https://joinhandshake.com) using your Name.# (e.g. Hale.516) and your normal OSU account password. If you have any issues getting on Handshake, reach out to your Career Services office or Buckeye Careers) to request help.
GRADUATING SOON?
For those finishing their programs in Dec 2022, or May, August, or Dec 2023, we highly encourage you to ALSO submit a 1-2 page resume (not a C.V.) to the link provided in the bounce back email once you register. You can still submit a resume even if you cannot attend the events, as every industry partner attending will receive all resumes submitted. If you know you want a career in industry, then we highly recommend you submit a resume no matter where you are in your program, as many industry partners will track your progress over the years.
You can submit your 1-2 page resume HERE. A resume is NOT required to participate in either event. DEADLINE for resume submissions is Tuesday, October 11th at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. This is a HARD deadline, so submit early just in case you have technical difficulties. I also recommend you add your resume on Handshake, as this platform is a great place to search and apply for positions at your level. Please check back periodically for updates on companies planning to attend the event, as the list will grow the closer we get to the event. If you need assistance with converting your C.V. to a resume or with interviewing skills, then please utilize the Buckeye Careers or attend one of the many workshops that are offered by your department or career services office. This event is also delivered in partnership with the Ohio State Postdoctoral Association, which provides support, advocacy and opportunity for our institution's robust postdoctoral population. The Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success is also a strong partner that provides wonderful services and resources for our graduate student population in Arts and Sciences.
