Buckeye Nation Week: T-Shirt Exchange

Buckeye Nation Week T-Shirt Exchange

As a part of Buckeye Nation Week, OUAB will be hosting its annual Buckeye Nation T-Shirt Exchange! Students get to come to donation locations to donate gently used clothing or non-perishable food items. This year, students will get their own Nike Buckeye Nation t-shirt in return. All the donations go to local Columbus non-profit organizations. For more details and times of the exchange, see below.

  • Monday 3/20, 10am - 2pm, Ohio Union Senate Chamber
  • Tuesday 3/21, 12pm - 4pm, Ohio Union Sphinx Centennial Leadership Suite
  • Wednesday 3/22, 12pm - 4pm, 18th Ave Library 
  • Thursday 3/23, 12pm - 4pm Ohio Union Sphinx Centennial Leadership Suite

Clothing Exchange: Bring one or more gently used clothing items, and get a Buckeye Nation shirt in return! Please do not bring clothing that has any rips, stains, holes, or graphic images. Clothing should be clean and in good condition.

  • Winter coats
  • Insulated gloves
  • Wool socks
  • Winter hats
  • Sweatpants
  • Jeans
  • Leggings
  • T-shirts

Donations go to the Star House. The Star House aims to lift youth struggling with homelessness. They provide clothing, hygiene, and other types of care to those in need. It is open 24/7 and is located in Columbus.

Canned Food Exchange: Bring three or more non-perishable food items, and get a Buckeye Nation shirt in return! Please check that the seal of the can/package has not been broken and that the expiration date has not passed.

  • Pasta
  • Peanut Butter
  • Soups and Broths
  • Canned Fruits, Vegetables, or Meats

Donations go to the NSI food pantry. The NSI food pantry works to combat the effects of poverty in the community and gives the people of Columbus a meal to eat.
