MLK Day of Service

Date: Monday, January 20, 2025, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: Ohio Union

Whether you volunteer together with your student organization, a group of friends, or want to get involved individually, all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are invited to join Pay It Forward to honor MLK Jr. by giving back and engaging in a morning of community service. Students will have the opportunity to participate in 2-3 hours of community service with a local nonprofit supporting them in addressing a variety of causes, including homeless/houseless citizen support, mental health advocacy, healthy food access, child welfare, and more. These service opportunities will take place both on and off campus. If you are assigned to an off campus site, buses will be provided. Site assignment will take place when you arrive on January 20.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM the day of, and no pre-registration is required for individual volunteers! Groups of 5+ participants can preregister here to serve at the same site by no later than 1/13/25. Additionally, if you would like to go above and beyond as a site leader, you can register here by 1/13/25.

All participants should be at the Ohio Union by 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 20.
