Get #REDy Buckeyes: What Is The Red Zone?

Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2024, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Location: Zoom

Cost: Free

Event Description: The Red Zone lasts from the first day back on campus to the first day of Thanksgiving break, and it is the most dangerous time of year for sexual violence. Over 50% of all instances of campus sexual violence occur during the Red Zone, and is most dangerous for students who are new to campus, such as freshman and transfer students. In this webinar, participants will learn about the Red Zone, how to recognize signs and symptoms of consuming tampered drinks, and how to reduce risk of sexual violence. Additionally, participants will engage in meaningful discussions regarding defining, giving, and receiving consent.
