Written by Juno's Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama, horror film Jennifer's Body—first considered a flop—is now deemed a queer feminist cult classic.

At the time of its release, Jennifer's Body was dismissed as just another vapid horror film appealing to straight men. Since then, "particularly after the rise of the #MeToo movement," according to the Lily, "the horror flick has taken on cult status with the help of its queer fan base."
