I Got Involved, Now What? is a panel discussion of current students and alumni who have taken their co-curricular involvements at Ohio State and used them to enrich their experience, leadership, and professional preparedness. This panel is directed to students who are wondering how to make the most of their involvements and the valuable time they commit to student orgs, research, internships, etc. We encourage students to come ready to hear some relatable stories and discover some inspiration for the commitments we make to our community through involvement.
Community Week is a Student Life Signature Event that is centered around race, inclusivity, and justice through spaces of dialogue. This year, the theme is: The U in Unity. The concept is drawn from the reality many of us have experienced with two years of an ongoing pandemic and heightened racial justice movement amid increasing political tensions - we have been forced into highly isolated environments for our health and wellness, but have needed our communities more than ever to navigate our lives. The U in Unity seeks to parse out the ways in which communities can help us discover ourselves more and how communities, though created by some shared experience or quality, are enriched by our individual diversity.
