Natural Hair: The Experience

We are excited to announce Natural Hair: The Experience in collaboration with N.A.P.S. (The Natural and Prosperous Society), featuring a panel of hair experts, hair expo, and a special screening of Hair Love followed by a Q&A with Matthew A. Cherry. 

Join us for Natural Hair: The Experience—an all-day, 3 part event on February 20, 2022, in The Ohio Union!

“Curl Talk” will kick off the event at 12:30 pm in the US Bank Conference Theater where a panel of experts will lead the conversation surrounding natural hair and the history behind the Natural Hair Movement.

From 1:30-4:30, we’ll be hosting “What Curls Want”, an expo in the Great Hall Meeting Room featuring local vendors where students can participate in training sessions and learn more about natural hair care.

Finally, to end the night, Matthew A. Cherry will be joining us virtually at 7 pm in the Performance Hall to discuss his life, career, and work on the book/short film “Hair Love.” *Please note, the panel and expo will be on a first come first serve basis while the Cherry conversation will be TICKETED*
