Buckeye Nation – we need your help to save lives and beat “That Team Up North.” The 41st Annual Blood Battle between The Ohio State University and TTUN runs from Oct. 26 – Nov. 23, with a series of 48 blood drives in the campus area. Our rival has won each of the last four competitions. All donors from the month-long event will receive a free Blood Battle T-shirt and will be entered to win a collection of other prizes.
The 2022 Blood Battle starts with an exciting kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at The Schottenstein Center near the Northeast Rotunda. A pair of Ohio State football players will be on hand to cheer donors on!
All blood donated in Columbus benefits patients at the Wexner Medical Center. The blood donation process takes less than an hour to complete and can save up to three lives. For a complete listing of drives and to schedule an appointment, visit Versiti.org/bloodbattle.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact The Buckeye Blood Club at osubuckeyebloodclub@gmail.com or 513-484-4442. Requests made one week in advance of the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
