Women of Color Collective Meeting

Date: Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Location: Alonso Family Room, Ohio Union

Cost: Free

Topic: Managing Stress and Mental Health

This week we will be discussing self-care and community care, and how traditional practices can help our mental health. For this discussion we will be joined by Audia Fraley, M.S.Ed., LPC, a therapist in the Student Life Department of Counseling and Consultation. You can learn more about our speaker here.

The Women of Color Collective provides a space for students who are women of color to connect, dialogue, celebrate and support each other’s whole authentic selves through an intersectional lens. Our meetings foster intercultural dialogue and to create a community of Women of Color students and space of solidarity, support and affirmation.

Note: This gathering is not an appropriate forum to fulfill class requirements for projects, papers, or other assignments. To find a program that could work for a class assignment, check out our calendar for anything that has a title followed by “DICE.”
