In this workshop, participating students will discuss the many components of networking, making introductions, and following up on connections. Topics related to appropriate email response times and maintaining a public social media account will also be briefly covered. Participants will also get to put these tips and strategies to practice by delivering their own elevator pitches, or brief professional introductions, to each other during the session. Understanding the various steps of networking and actually practicing these steps will prepare participating students for future involvement and job interviews at The Ohio State University and beyond.
