OUAB presents OUABroadway: The Zoom Where it Happens, a conversation with members of the orginal cast of Hamilton.

Jonathan Groff had an award-winning breakout performance in Broadway’s “Spring Awakening” in 2006. In 2015, Groff originated the role as King George III in Lin Manuel Miranda's Pulitzer Prize winning production of “Hamilton” on Broadway. On screen, Groff is the voice of Kristoff and Sven in the Disney animated hit films “Frozen” and “Frozen II.” Groff is also known for his starring role as Holden Ford in David Fincher’s critically acclaimed Netflix television series “Mindhunter,” which was executive produced by Oscar-winner Charlize Theron. He also appeared as the recurring character, Jesse St. James, on the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning show "Glee," created and produced by Ryan Murphy. In 2019 Groff starred as Seymour Krelborn in the Westside Theatre’s hit Off-Broadway production of “Little Shop of Horrors.” 

Anthony Ramos starred in the original cast of the TONY® and GRAMMY® Award-winning Broadway phenomenon “Hamilton” that can currently be seen on Disney+. Ramos will soon be seen as the lead in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s highly-anticipated “In the Heights” feature film directed by Jon M. Chu, released by Warner Brothers. Ramos appeared in the Academy Award-winning “A Star Is Born” opposite Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga as well as Neon’s “Monsters and Men” for which he won the Imagen Award for “Best Actor in a Feature Film.” This fall you can see him in "Honest Thief" opposite Liam Neeson. Ramos voiced a character in the recently released Dreamworks animated feature "Trolls: World Tour", appeared in the worldwide box office hit “Godzilla: King of Monsters” and Spike Lee’s critically-acclaimed Netflix series, “She’s Gotta Have It”.

Phillipa Soo is best known for originating the role of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton in Broadway’s critically acclaimed show “Hamilton”. The role garnered her the Lucille Lortel Award in 2015 for Lead Actress in a Musical during the show's Off-Broadway, sold-out run at The Public Theater as well as earning her a 2016 Tony Award nomination. This fall, Soo will voice a lead role in Netflix’s animated feature film OVER THE MOON that was directed by Glen Keane and written by Audrey Wells. She can also be seen in the Selena Gomez-produced THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY opposite Geraldine Viswanathan that will be released theatrically by Sony Pictures, and in Disney+’s feature THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN that will be released on August 14th. In 2018, she co-starred on Broadway opposite Uma Thurman in the play “The Parisian Woman,” and in 2017, Soo played the title role in the Broadway musical “Amelie,” based on the Academy Award-winning 2001 French film, Amelie.
